  7. Guys, can someone explain to me how they find Rome 2 fun after having 3 provinces? My problem with Rome 2 is how easy it is, if you take 10 or more cities, its impposible to lose the campaign. You have so much money, units are so cheap, you can always buy most of the things you want, and you never have public order problems. I started an Egypt campaign and got 3 good fullstacks and a 9000+ income with only 3 provinces. The game is won, now I only need to take 90+ cities. How is that fun? I like Attila much more because there the campaign is fun from the start untill the end, because theres always something to do. I just hope they make some new dlc for Attila.

  9. Based on how the Etruscans automatically lose if they lose their capital, it would be interesting if total war could implement some sort of capitulation mechanic from paradox games like hoi4. If you take important cities from the enemy, maybe enemy units get a temporary morale buff as their motivated to retake it but after x turns it becomes a debuff, and after enough cities enemy morale will auto drop to zero and they faction surrenders

  16. looks good. I've always liked scenarios where you're forced to start small anyway. In scenarios where you're forced to start as a sprawling empire like in Imperator Augustus, you're always starting usually going into debt with crappy armies in inconvenient locations all across your empire. I prefer these because you aren't forced to spend the first few turns completley overhauling your armies and economy and you can just jump right into the game.

  17. Roma Invicta!

Really looking forward to this expansion (the prologue touched upon the setting), sure i would like a entire new Rome game at some point.
I guess that is quite far away, i suspect after three kingdoms we will get a new warhammer game and after that who knows? maybe a new Medieval game or something completly different? so i really appreciate that creative assembly keeps doing expansions thus giving Rome II more longevity

  25. Got an idea: "Rome II: UNITED" – conjoin the maps and factions of Rome II Vanilla, Caesar In Gaul, Hannibal at the Gates, Imperator Augustus, Wrath of Sparta, Empire Divided and Rise of the Republic. Bit like Warhammer's Mortal Empires' united maps and factions, would just add more detail to the grand campaign.
    Thoughts?
