Well if you’re a big fan of gameplay and can tolerate older graphics (which are still decent) then I would buy it. Rome 1 would be selling for real cheap now and Rome 2 doesn’t come out until the end of 2013. Have you played other total war games before?
Yes, you will be waiting a while, and Rome is pretty cheap at the moment on steam.
I highly doubt any of the Total war franchise will ever go to consoles.
